Any tips for fighting Duke Shakron as a mage?

Ok so i pretty much have every mage item before sharkron, I just need some tips on how to kill him

I havent fought him either, but I think a fast weapon (Razorpine) might help in popping his bubble attacks

Fishron*, also use something that homes in like Bat Scepter, keep flying circles over and under him while dodging.
Move to another area once the Cthulunado's spawn.

STAY MOVING. I cannot stress this enough. Don't stand still if you can help it. Duke Fishron hits like a truck and it HURTS. Since there's no time limit on the Duke fights like fighting the mech bosses (must be done during the nighttime) I'd suggest you use the Spectre Hood so you can restore health. Use potions as well. Endurance, Rage and Wrath potions help so much as well as Lifeforce potions help give you that extra boost.

There was an update that added a boss called Duke Fishron, which is summoned by fishing at the Ocean with a Truffle Worm as bait. He's currently the most difficult boss.

Exaclty my point.
Also, you have to pop the bubbles by attacking them before they hit you.
The tornado spawner is a bunch of circles thown on the floor (first phase). In the second phase, it goes towards the player. The spawner itself doesn't hurt, but the tornado freshly spawned will, so don't stay in the ground when the circles touches you, and move onto another chunk of map.

Fishron as the most difficult? I'd say he's extremely easy, I've had more trouble with Prime than I did with Fishron.

He is by far the most fun boss to fight though.

Yes he is. Fishron is a solo player alternative to the Moon events.

For Fishron..?
Why do people recommend Moon Event worthy arena's for a boss like Fishron..
Literally all you need to do is fly circles around him, no need for buffs or statues.
