How many UFOs spawn on the Martian Invasion?
I just got 6 on my first Martian Invasion, which is hard, and I said hard! Was using the Tiki Armor. Got 1 Cosmic Car Key, 2 Xeno Staffs, Charged Blast Cannon, Anti-gravity Hook and a Laser Machingun. I feel 6 is way too many, but if its normal, then I'll prepare myself next time I start the invasion.

It keeps spawning untill u are 100% done with the event, so yes it can be overwhelming.

Kinda can but if you have endgame equipment, it gets fun. That aside, if you can kill the lunar boss and get Lumonite you'll be able to make http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Stardust_armor which is much better than tiki. It can also help to use all the summoning accessories and a Stardust Dragon Staff. Get the dragon to it's maximum length then watch everything die.
