Which of these should I use against the Mechanical Booses ?

I have:

Crystal Storm, Magic Dagger, Meteor Staff and Nimbus Rod.


I'm building a mage and now I have my Adamantite armor with mage headgear but I can't decide beetwen these weapons.

The Meteor Staff consumes mana like crazy, Crystal Storm and Magic Dagger seem to be pretty equal and idk much about how The Nimbus Rod stands compared to them.
I'm going against The Destroyer first.

For The Destoryer, use the numbus rod and any other weapons you have. Just try to avoid him and you'll be fine.

To be brief, those weapons suck except for Nimbus and possibly the meteor staff vs bosses.

If you have crimson, getting the golden shower should be your priority.

Yeah but the Nimbus Rod is more stationary and The Destroyer spawn those little laser balls but I'l try.

You got steamrolled by him; if not, GG.

You should be fine with the golden shower or what you have; the destroyer isn't too particularly difficult on the lower difficulties. Reforge everything to warding if you have to and you should be fine

Nimbus rod very effective against the destroyer which can get you a megashark that really helps against the other bosses but if you are strictly a mage then the meteor staff is very effective if you can keep your mana up.

I don't have The Mana Flower trinket however.

Use mana potions (kill hallowed / corrupted mimics if need be). Wire up star stautes. What you really need, though, are celestial cuffs and their badass new magnet variant.

But for celestial cuffs, I need the celestial magnet and that has a 7.5% chance of being sold by the traveling merchant if the wiki is right.

Mana flower will definitely help although you could go mana cuffs instead but it'd require you to get hit some and manage your health better but a charm of myths can help a lot with that.

TBH I never manage it. I usually get hit once or twice and that's enough to fully max me out on mana, more or less.

first, try getting a mana flower and stocking up on mana potions. wizard should help with that. then, when you fight destroyer, you should put up two nimbus clouds at either end of your screen. then use the meteor staff and cyrstal storm on him. for the most part ignore the probes, unless you get low on health, in which case kill them for the hearts they drop. havent played mage properly yet so this is just what i think. hope it helps!
