Need some tips for Twins

I appreciate all offers to help, but I'd like to do this on my own. I have only managed to get them down to their second form before they obliterate me (usually with that constant fire attack).

Can someone please post some tips for them? I have a small arena (being upgraded) but I can usually just evade them by flying around and using my shield to dash away when they get too close, but once they change forms, they simple outmaneuver me. I've been using a Nimbus Rod and Godly Amarok for my main source of damage with a campfire and heart lanterns along with the usual buff potions, but it just doesn't seem to be enough.

I appreciate any and all tips.

A good way for killing the twins is making a long sky brige made out of Asphalt blocks or frozen slime blocks Asphalt being the best to use make sure to have full set of Adamantite Armor or Titanium Armor Which ever one that you like. I dont know wat class you are but i used cursed firball and Frost staff to kill them make sure the sky brige is long and run back and forth on it good luck hope you win.

The storm bow + infinite arrows works great for all 3 mech bosses for me.

Summon a thing , throw out 2 Nimbus clouds and hold to rain death from the sky.
The rest is just dodging shots.....
Best way tho is to kill the green flame eye before you damage lazer eye.

Yeah, those names are way too long and complicated for me to remember. I'll just call em Luigi and Mario.

I killed them by just focusing on Spaz then going for the other. I didn't have time to figure out how to wire up my only heart statue, so I just went in with my heart lanterns and camp fires and hopes for the best with my dodging. Only had to warp back to base for the nurse once.

Kill a couple Hallowed Mimics, get the Daedelus Stormbow, craft some Holy Arrows. I killed them with that and the Mithril Set.

Yea, I've been killed by Hallowed Mimics every time I meet them. I'm going to try spawning a few on the surface to see how that works, but every time I encounter one underground, I die.

So, spawning them on the surface turns them into a joke. Though, I didn't get a bow, only two knives.

Yup, spawning them on the surface is best. The Flying Knife from Hallowed Mimic is pretty cool, but I don't think it's very good. Not in close quarters anyways, like when you are spelunking. Above ground it can be pretty good. The Daedalus Stormbow is really cool, but I'm not a ranged fighter.

EDIT: Also, grats on defeating the Twins! Good luck with Skeletron Prime! I can only assume you've beaten The Destroyer already, since he's a pushover.

Thanks. I do have a strategy I found out for Skeletron that removes his limbs from the fight and leaves only his head. From this, the two times I fought him, his below-10k-health attack one-shot me for over 800 damage.

Just echoing what others have said, but last time I beat them (which was pre-1.3) I had a long skybridge with campfires all along it, and my weapon was the beloved Megashark firing crystal bullets. Boots that boost speed are also the best.
