Inaccessible Golem room

[Pythios]

So I've made my way through expert mode to the Golem boss, only to find out that his arena is inaccessible to me. Here's a screenshot:

It's just to the left of my character in the center, by the little cluster of 4 torches. The temple path led me right to that spot and I can see the Golem's alter just down below.

Is my only option to go into a different world, kill the golem until it drops a Picksaw and mine an opening?

If you can host a server real quick I wouldn't mind to help out real quick.

Aside that - yeah farm yourself a picksaw in another world ^^

Not sure if this would work, but get an accessory that increases your building range, put a teleporter right in the room, and wire that up.

I don't know why i didn't even think to try that. I'll give this a try first before I waste anyone's time. If it doesn't work, then I'll invite someone. Thanks for the quick replies!

Actually I guess teleporters don't work at all inside the temple? Like it's impossible to acess it with that lil trick from my experiences :DD

It just worked actually, I was surprised it did. Maybe teleporters work in the temple after you open the door? Otherwise you could just teleport past the door in the first place lol.

Teleporters and the Rod of Discord only work after you've unlocked the door, although it is possible to go into the room without the teleporters. But it involved glitching and I dont want to ruin anyones gaming experience

It's actually after you beat Plantera now, not sure if they changed it in 1.3 because I do remember teleporters not working until you unlocked the door. Now, though, you don't even have to unlock the door, as long as Plantera has been defeated in that world. Though even that restriction is pretty easy to get by, since it's the walls that block teleporting and you can just remove them with any hammer.

OP clearly this is the game telling you that you are fat and need to lose weight. You should lay off the Well Fed buffs.

I think they also fixed the walls so not just any hammer removes them. I tried to remove the walls to see if it would work and I had no luck.

Really? I haven't tested it since the update. That's good to know. Now if only they'd remove the requirement to beat Plantera to summon the Golem, it's really annoying having to beat four other bosses before I can fight the Golem in a new world...

Well before I would have agreed with you, but not after 1.3. After you beat the Golem, the Moon Lord fight opens up. Do you really think you should be able to fight the Moon Lord in a pre-hardmode world?

Sure, why not? You can't break into the Jungle Temple now or bring over a Lihzahrd Altar unless you've already beaten the Golem in another world.

Lol, the game can't make up its mind. Constant bass from fishing for quest fish keeps me stocked, but now I can't fit between blocks!
