Too Many Invasions.

Please let there be a way to at least make them less frequent, Solar eclipse happens way too often, the marsian probe always seems to run into my Minions, Blood Moon seems to have replaced my regular Moon ... Please I just want to farm up for the Cthulhu-guy and make my base pretty.

I still hope there is already an item to stop invasions and I just havent found out about it yet.

I just want my peace :(

I feel the opposite.
I haven't seen enough invasions and I picked Large/Expert when I generated my world.

When you reach endgame Dahl, you will get absolutely swarmed with invasions.

I had 4 Solar Eclipses in 1 ingame week, and 3 blood moons. I've also had a martian invasion almost every day as well...

I love the loot and all, but geez.

Makes farming them for certain items much less of a hassle. I've killed every boss at least once, and the spawn rate for the invasions seem fine (playing on Expert, Medium Sized world).

It helps that a majority of invasions can in fact, just be ignored. Blood moon does nothing if you're far underground, and the same goes for the solar eclipse (which is basically blood moon with hard mode enemies).

The invsaions are REALLY a pain once you reach end game.. I am trying to build stuff in my world and I cant do ♥♥♥♥ when each day its a blood moon / martian invasion or a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ goblin one.. anything happens on a daily basis.. I have every item I need.. I dont need another freaking Sauser key.. Or anything from those events pure annoying once you reach the point when you have the items you want.. I cant build in peace,

Yeah Kaiyuni, if you still need the items, the amount of invasions is ok... but if you have sold everything 10 times already its just an annoyance. And I cant Ignore some invasions, the Moths still kill me in 3 hits with my gear.

What do you have that makes the mothron be this deadly? even with mythril armor I was fine

.agree especially the martian event is totally annoying. it cancels old events. i love the old ones and i love the new ones. but martian is an event, you are forced to do when it appears. you can run away but at least the ufo is following you and kills you with its death ray. is it possible to make it optional or drop down the appearances? its gross that you have to mod the game to make it playable and enjoyable

I was like 3 days without NPC spawning because of invasions haha, on Expert mode here, on biggest world. Started hardmode, after 1 or 2 days, goblin invasion with mini boss, then just the next day pirates invasion, after 2 days, pirates again, after 2 days, goblin invasion again (almost all NPC died, only 3 left), then the night, killed skeletron prime, in the next morning, eclipse, then the night (short break and still without NPCs...), then next morning, eclipse again............no NPCs spawn for a while lol, I missed the Nurse a lot.

yeah I constantly have to move the npcs to their old houses again :s

And I play on Expert and run around in the spooky armor so my Stardust Dragon takes care of everything for me while im building/farming. The Martian Saucer Boss hits me with ~350 with the big laser, there is just no way i can leave my base when i get invaded.

In base i can afk though and collect everything afterwards

Sometimes they do happen a bit too regularly, I went for about 4 days without having a normal day (or night). That said it's not TOO bad, you do get time to yourself, just not that often.

You people know you can just destroy the martian probe when it comes right? I will say though that solar eclipses and bloodmoons can be annoying, especially when you already have everything you need and you are trying to focus on something else, like building.

What I often do is I play on a server (Even if I play alone, just use the TerrariaServer.exe from the game's folder and join 127.0.0.1) and whenever I get an unwanted solar eclipse or bloodmoon I just change the time (type dusk/dawn/midnight/noon in the server console).
Some might call it cheating, I call it convenience

*If you do the server thingy, you probably won't be able to get some of them achievements since some of the require you to play singleplayer.

Unless you're not using melee weapons, you need as many solar eclipses as possible for broken hero swords.

I've gone through 3 solar eclipses without a broken hero sword.

Blood Moons spawn Clowns, and Clowns can drop bananarangs. So that's useful.

Martian Madness drops cool stuff too, but I imagine it's harder than solar eclipse.

(Also, I hate vampires.)

Aaaah, thanks a lot, I always thought you had to kill the Probe to get an invasion and my Minion killed it accidental... so at least i can avoid some of the invasions :)

I got 3 broken swords on my first solar eclipse :|
martian madness is pretty bad cos the items only drop from one enemy thats a pain to fight if you arent ready for it, and as soon as it dies a new one spawns

Which is why solar eclipses can be manually summoned. There's no reason to have them happen every other day naturally. Meanwhile once you have what you need, the events only end up preventing you from doing other things.
