Meowmere won't drop

This might sound like a rant post, but I'm really baffled at this point. I've killed the Moon Lord so many times in Normal mode by this time that I'm sitting with over 900 of every kind of Celestial Fragment, 500 Luminite Bars, and dozens of magic and ranged item drops from the Moon Lord. Star Wrath even dropped about three times. Everything but Meowmere. Just what more am I supposed to do? Does it have like a 0.0001% drop rate? I have killed the Moon Lord once in Expert, but still found no Meowmere.

the meowmere has a 11.11% drop rate from the moon lord. if u have killed him that many times and not gotten one u must be unlucky. just keep trying and maybe one day you will get one =)

yep i have a friend who hasnt even gotten a terrarian yet after many tries till now

Aye, I've also thought that I'm just extremely unlucky. That and I started to suspect that it only drops in Expert mode. I read about it being 11.11%, but honestly, it feels more like less than 1% for me, haha. I'll keep trying, but it's becoming painful spending hours on end farming and seeing no results except more and more doubles of every other drop.

I'm happy to hear your friend's tenacity paid off. Hope mine does soo, too. I was fortunate enough to get the Terrarian early on, and along with the entire Solar Flare armour set and the right accessories, it makes a brilliant tool for farming the Moon Lord. Now I literally have every Moon Lord drop except Meowmere...

I would be very, very, VERY thankful. I just completed another fight without it dropping, so it seems it's impossible to drop in my game. What do you want for it?

I can soundly conclude that it's impossible for Meowmere to drop in my game. Over 100 wins against the Moon Lord, and the so-called "1/9" is just myth. Waste of time.

That's exactly how I felt with Meowmere. I'll try and farm for another Terrarian and gift it to you.

Welcome to the wonderful world of RNG, let me give you an example of something that actually happened.
I put at least 16 stacks of silt through an extractinator, after that I lost count, I think it was between 16 and 20 stacks before I finally got my Amber Mosquito. Then a friend of mine put like 50 blocks of silt through an extractinator and got one.
You two have just been very unlucky, either keep farming or find someone to trade with :)

Well, this was posted last year. After more farming, I finally acquired Meowmere, but geez, it was still far more trouble than was necessary. :-P

I've killed moon lord like 50+ times and I still don't have a single terrarian or a celebration. 11.11% for both? That can't be right cause you'd think I get at least one when I'm grinding moon lords like a farm machine.
