It's not as good as I thought. Cutting grass mostly spawns grasshoppers. Worms come from stone formations, and those still need a hit with a pickaxe.
That said, the net is easy to attain when turning in quest fish with multiple characters, and when you do that, you also drown in potions and in turn also in master bait.

you can only do one mission a day though, its to slow for my liking....
