Health Potion Cooldown
They really need to fix the Health Potion Cooldown it is completely retarded that it takes that long before you can use another Please test things out before changing them

Well they never changed it (as far as I know, I only play since 1.2)

its pretty balanced that you need to wait a minute before you can use another potion that restores 2/5 of your hp

This has been in the game for a while now (1.1 or something). It's rather balanced since potions restore a large amount of health. The cooldown prevents you from spamming potions and effectively cheesing most fights. Besides, you wouldn't need to use potions so much if you don't get hit as much (git gud).

Potion Sickness exist since 1.0.6, so, yeah, it's been a while since it exist.

Anyway, with how the potion are easily accessible, a debuff was needed to prevent the player from spamming them and being almost immortal.

- Get a philosopher stone to reduce said cooldown by 25%
- Increase your defense ( better gear , enchantment "Warding" on your accessory , ironskin potion ) so you take less damage and need less potion of healing
- Use Regeneration Potion or equip regeneration accessory so you lose less HP over time.
- Switch to ranged weaponry so you can dodge melee enemies
- Get stronger potion ( in normal mode, Healing Potions can be crafted with Lesser Healing Potions & Glowing Mushroom and you can also fish Honeyfin who heal for 120 HP in honey , in hard mode, you can craft Greater Healing Potion with Water, Pixie Dust and Crystal Shard )

It's balanced. If you use the philosopher stone, you can have it to be 45 seconds, you can also use a charm of myths to reduce it by more.
(Charm of Myths=Philosopher Stone+Band of HP Regen)

Reducing the cooldown of the potion would turn player into unkillable machine.
As it is, it's enough to keep you alive if you have proper gear and dodge a minimum as long as you don't venture where you're not supposed to be.

Where are you venturing and with which stuff exactly to find the potion sickness debuff so troublesome ?

It's annoying, but it's balanced. It exists the way it does to discourage people just spamming healing potions constantly. It forces people to use things like regeneration or defense potions or just not be as careless when they fight. Before the cooldown existed, people just gathered glowing mushrooms and spammed the hell out of them to survive the majority of the game, and it was completely broken.

As is, between potions and moving the nurse near boss arenas, people have been able to just power through bosses... So I imagine that the nurse might even be getting some sort of cooldown soon.
