Golem doesn't spawn!

I have the quest to kill the Golem.
I killed Plantera, got the key, opened the temple, found the Altar , found some Lizhard power cells and tried to spawn the golem, but it didn't worked, I tried it at day and at night.
If someone got an idea how to fix, pls tell me. c:

1 restart the server
2 make sure there is room for him to spawn
3 take a deep breath
5 being a friend to make sure you are not crazy
6 there is no #4 and you can no go kill the boss

might wanna change world then, there have been gamebreaking issues in terraria before which is super rare.

Well, I really should do a bigger platform for the golem (4 blocks are maybe not much ,lel) and I also did a new world and did the same as in my first world (still not working).

You should be able to right click the altar with a power cell (dunno if it has to be in your hand or just in the inventory, but try it with and without). Having it in your hand and left clicking it to activate it (like you would the Cannon) does nothing.

Also make sure he has plenty of space above the Altar to spawn, as he spawns slightly above it.

Well, I killed Plantera again. I got the hardmode dungeon and Golem spawned. I am happy.
