Hey, today i build a "nymph/metal detector farm"

technically its just a usual monster farm at the moment i got like 2 metal detectors per hour
at normal difficulty and pre-hardmode its an "amateur" farm
i tought i could post pics in here...i was wrong :(

should i set up a guide to build it?

I would also point out that a smaller screen size make monsters spawn closer. So if you set the game to say 800x600 (try windowed mode so it won't look as ugly) they will spawn much closer and you need a much smaller area. It appears that spawning is coding based on what the player can see.

Don't suppose you would mind trading for a spare metal detector? :P I've been searching 2 days for one and would take ages to make that farm haha.

actually it take only a few hours :D but of course you are the 3rd one today just friend request i have enough detectors

I also made one but i think this one dosen't working

Before i slept i turn on my terraria and after i woke up

check my inventory there was no metal detector at all but compass and stuffs.

May i know how to build farm?

wow never mind i killed nymph and find metal detector.

nymph spawn as the lost girl and you know lost girl dosen't move.

that's why i can't kill the nymph. it never come to trap itself.

i posted the guide i works pretty well at the moment i have 4 unused metal detectors

thank you i got metal detector from Nymph when i was building this farm it wasn't finished yet :D

I managed to get 2 metal detectors in 15 mins (first one under a minute) just by going to the caverns layer of snow biome. Where I started building a large free space (made just about 90x60 blocks) and lost girls started to appear quite often. I lost about 5 of them because I went the other way they were located otherwise good idea to build something like yours "farm".
