Golden bunny?

I just found Gold Bunny just next to my house. There is not much about it on wiki, for example where they spawn etc... So I want to ask you; have you ever found any golden mob? And where?
Btw.: I thik it's not SO rare

It is actually quite rare. You can also find golden birds. I found 3 golden bunnies and 2 golden birds. I only have 1 golden bird. 1 flew away and i accidently killed 2 golden bunnies and a monster killed 1

I accidentally killed a golden bird, but I also got... 2 golden worms and a golden squirrel, I think? I didn't keep 'em; 30 gold's almost a minishark lol.

My world was created today, after 1 hour of playing I found gold bunny, extractinator, like milion gold chests, tons of minecart tracks underground, 3 pyramids, but no living tree :c
