Can't open biome chest

Hey guys a mob dropped a corription key, I went to the corruption chest which I previously knew the location of in the dungeon but I couldn't open it for some reason even though the corruption key was in my inventory, I tried using it from my hotbar and nothing happened.

Please help me if you know the solution, am I missing something?

If the key says its cursed from something in the jungle, that means you havent killed plantera.

Gotta kill it to unlock the dungeon and unlock the golem.

Nope you aint - obviously a bug!

Go try relogg or anything else common to get bugs fixed.

If that won't work - report it in the sticky.

King in Yellow has Terraria

You're sure it's the key and not the mold to make the key (one mold + one temple key)? As far as I know, keys don't drop from mobs, only their molds counterparts do.

It is the wiki says that in order to use the keys you neet to kill Plantera

kill prime using clockwork assault riffle. and then use flamethrower on destroyer.

I have added in wiki information about that you still have to kill Plantera to open biome chest. (becouse you still have to)

Yep, I just defeated plantera and I opened the chest!

You see. If you knew any informations that are not showed on wiki you should add it :D There is still many mistakes and missing informations on wiki...
