Need help finding the skeleton merchant. PLZ

Ive been looking for this merchant well over 4 hours. explored cave after cave. I looked in about 6 dif granite biomes and ive even resorted to using my mega miner to dig around for it and notin! Please help me find him or let me join a world with him on.

If this is any help, all I know is that he spawns in the cavern or underground biomes, so stay in that range

i found mine both times in the jungle caves

yeah underground jungle seems like the best place

When you need him most, he will not be there. When you don't search for him, he will arrive.

Getting water candles and battle potions and just running in about a 500x500 loop is what I found to be the best way to farm for his arrival, however, it's a lot easier to just play the game normally untill you see him.

heres what you do. level a spot in a biome where u can farm n sit up top.
visit this spot randomly durin diff terraria days, the sundial thing helps alot. eventually he spawn on the level ground an be chillin, happen in every spot i made for minion farming .just takes time an completely random
