Life Fruit 1.3 Help

Did something change with the life fruit in 1.3 my hole jungle is searched an no life fruit? im in hard mode????

Life Fruits tend to be very hard to find if you just got into hardmode. They've probably haven't gotten enough time to spawn enough, or they're just playing hard to get with you, being spread very wide apart or something like that,

I wish this were the case for me. I have beaten the mechanical bosses and still no life fruit. I believe this may be some sort of bug... searched the entire jungle maybe 5 or 6 times now and nothin. In 1.2 I was running into them left and right.

Same here. I've been in hard mode for a while. I'm using spelunker potions and scouring my jungle but can't find a single life fruit.

Tip for you all. Go through your underground jungle and destroy every blade of grass you can. Wait awhile and go back. Chances are there will be a lot of Life Fruit. Use a spelunker potion as those let you see the fruits.

Same here. Even used a program to search for life fruits after not finding any for two real days... I don't think they take more than one real day to spawn.

Pretty much this.

If you have not gone into the jungle since starting in hardmode, you probably won't find any life fruit the first time you re-enter.

Just found out you need to kill one of the mechanical bosses in order to get the life fruits to spawn. Confused me cause its not on the wiki yet.

First, stop using the wiki ;P Second, seems to help my chances of life fruit spawning when I just run through breaking all the grass, respawn chance affected? Not sure.

So,all yall peeps need to do,is defeat a Mechanical Boss (I recommend the Destroyer)


But even then they're still HARD to find! (I have found atleast 4 though)

use rare ore finder item. it tells you when there is a life fruit nearby.
