“X update is the last one!” Is kinda a meme, so you never really know lol.
what if, every time major content drop ex 1.5 1.6 1.7 and so on, they add DLC that cost as much as the base game that contain only exclusive vanity set that can only be equiped by DLC owner and text file which filled with some basic "thank you for supporting us bla bla bla"
redigit got his money and the community got their feel good moment for supporting small indie company
everybody win!
https://terraria.org/store
But if they gonna announce some crowdfunding in order to gather some money to make new major update - I will be interested to participate.
sure you can do that, but not everyone have million of dollar to spare for shipping fee. so those little DLC package is a cheap alternative way to support them
when i say cheap, i mean it, its cheaper for me to buy terraria 4 pack twice than went to their store and buy a King Slime pin
It will be A final update, like 1.4, 1.4.1, and so on (lol)
