Missing Arms Dealer

In Terraria, i have a Flare Gun and plenty of Amunition, AND a house, but after like 3 or 4 Terraria days there is still no arms dealer. Any Suggestions?

The weapon needs to be able to fire bullets. The Flare Gun does not qualify.

You need to obtain either the musket/undertaker by breaking the shadow orbs/crimson hearts, or the boomstick from underground jungle chests. Either one of those will attract the arms dealer.

Or you could try being a hero and killing Skeletron in order to obtain the handgun from a dungeon chest.

As far as I can tell, all other firearms can only be found much later in the game or after the arms dealer is already present.

Could also get lucky with a Boomstick in the Jungle, or maybe even a Revolver from the Traveling Merchant, but yeah, typically it's a Musket/Undertaker that does the job. They're generally obtained much sooner than everything else.

Don't get me started on the Red Ryder...

I read that the revolver doesn't get sold until the Arms Dealer is present in the world.
