Rainbow Crystal Staff or Lunar Portal Staff?

Title is pretty self-explanatory: which of these do you think is better? Naturally, you can use both at the same time - and I do on most of my characters - but if you could only fit one in your hotbar, which one would you prefer?

A brief comparison:

Lunar Portal Staff
+Hits things much faster, so it can generate more Nebula buffs
+Appears to have a longer range
-Lower base damage, so it's reduced by defense more
-Can only target one enemy at a time

Rainbow Crystal Staff
+Higher base damage, so it's better for enemies with higher defense
+Can target multiple enemies at once
-Its attack delay means that fast enemies can dodge it
-Seems to have a slightly shorter range than LPS

Id go with the rainbow crystal staff cause all you have to do is set it up close to the enemy or an area where they pass through or something and it its all enemies at once andwith high damage the delay on attack speed doesnt really matter that much cause because it hits multiple enemies it will generate nebula buffs per enemy hit (chance ofc)

Depends, if you place the LPS nexto the ground, and a group of enemes run at it, the LPS would peirce all. However, the RCS, can hit more targets if used above them. All in all, it comes down to how its used, personally i prefure RCS for farming for its higher damage, but against bosses, LPS wins due to being able to hit moving targets better.
