How on earth do I defeat Expert Skeletron?
At this stage in the game, I have defeated every Non-Hardmode boss before Wall of Flesh and Skeletron, and I have access to pretty much every Potion, Item, and Armor Pre-Hardmode in the game. For the ther bosses I have been using full Bee Gear (Full Bee Armor, Hive Pack, Honey Comb, Bee Gun, The Bee's Knees, Bee Keeper and 3 Hornets) and had great success, but with Skeletron I just can't. I have also been using Potions. I have access to Molten Gear, Minishark, pretty much anything there is. What is a good strategy I can use? What gear, what arena, anything.

I beat him with Crimson Armor and a Snowball Cannon as for assesories : Blue Horseshoe ballon, Spectre Boots, And some other ones i can't quite remember (All set to warding) then just keep dodging and spamming him with snowballs
Tip : Try to kill both hands at once

I used molten armor and bee's knees. Shark tooth necklace, shield of cthulu, obsidian shield, spectre boots and horseshoe balloon. He was pretty damn easy.

I placed a long line of platforms to fight him on, i fought him similar to fighting the wall of flesh, just running in one direction to help dodge his skull projectiles. I also placed campfires everywhere to get a little boost of health

The Bee's Knees with Wooden Arrows I assume?

Yup

Personally, I found using Meteor armor was best, all through Prehardmode, and that the best arena to fight Skeletron in resembles an inverse donut, with a couple wings out to the side to sprint away when he spins after you.

I had the exact same problem. I beat him by making a nice arena with some rows of platforms (it must be wide so you can run to recover health) and i added a lot of campfires and heart lamps, plus well fed and regeneration buff. I took the hands using the bee gun + honeycomb (actually the one with the baloon and the horseshoe) and the head with the minishark. I used the bee pack, shark tooth necklace, band of regeneration and spectre boots, all warding.

I cant remember but skeletron follows you right? I built a massive hellbridge for wall of flesh I wont need but, currently working on a border to border skybridge of wooden platforms with campfires and heart lanterns at intervals for moon lord later. If I can lead him up there....

Use anything that makes you run fast or reverts the "slow" debuff

I can't remember all my acsessories at the time but i know I had a amazon, crimtain armor, and bee's knees as my main weopens. Also the bee's knees is better than a mini shark. I had tons of wooden arrows to. A hornet staff, and the cloud thing than rains blood. And get every potion that is of use to you.

use a endless quiver if you need to

Use potions! Personally I like to play tanky-melee, but I kind of had to switch to ranged for this. I used Crimtane Armor, with Fiery Greatsword, Minishark, Crimson Rod, Bee Gun, and a lot of beenades, accessories being Worm Scarf, Lightning Boots, Bee Pack, Sweetheart Necklace, Shield of Cthulu. Make sure to have the Bee mount too.
Fly backwards on the bee and use Minishark to take out the hands, making sure to avoid his hand sweeps. Once you kill the hands, he can only hit you with his head and little projectiles. Stay as far away from him as you can, until he starts spinning. When he does that, spam Bee Gun into him, because all of his defense is gone. If you do get caught in his head, try to rocket out immediately and dash away.
And as suggested above, have campfires and heart lamps placed all around. When I did this, I had the nurse set up in a house, and broke part of it to make her get out and stand on the platform, for easier healing. Heal whenever he is far enough away that he won't be able to hit you with his head.

Good luck!

Farm queen bbe for beenades, a good be gun, and a bee mount. It took me 57 Queen bees to get just 2 mounts, so you must grind alot
