What items are there to decrease enemy spawn rate?

Hello! I have been playing this game for a long time and I would like to know what are some items that can lower enemy spawn rates? I took care of the slime problem by using a royal slime gel. Is there any other item that can lower spawn rates or at least make the enemies friendly? If not is there anyway to mod the game so spawn rates are lowered?

Sunflowers; Peace Candle; Calming Potion. Also, if you place walls yourself enemies won't spawn there anymore.

theres vile pouch you can get from the corrupt mimics
armor too such as stealth when using the shroomite / vortex armor
