Map file location on mac

Hello fellow terraria players! I'm playing on a mac and was just wondering if anyone knew where the map files are located on a mac. I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Sure thing, it's easiest to get to if you go to the top menu bar and click "go" and then "go to folder...". A window will pop up and enter ~/Library/Application Support/Terraria and click ok.

there's now also a shortcut for "go", if this helps, it's command + shift + g
