Side effects of not breaking altars

I've decided to play a game where I don't break any altars in hardmode. I've gotten the hardmode ores by fishing and I've managed to progress quite nicely (just beat Plantera). Anyone know what the side effects of not breaking any altars are? I've noticed the pirate map doesn't seem to drop and there are no random pirate invasions. Any other events or things I'll miss out on if I don't break an altar?

Will biome keys drop? I haven't seen any so far and I've been in hardmode for a while.

You dont miss out on anything you just have bad luck with maps and the invasion will happen but it doesnt have a Super high chance to happen biome keys will drop everything will be the same

You need to break at least 1 altar for pirate invasions to start, also for the mechanical bosses to randomly spawn. I suppose that solar eclipses follow the same rule but I am unsure.

The pirate mad does drop if no altars are broken.

Other that you will have to manually spawn the mech bosses and the pirate invasion, I don't think there are any side effects.
I don't know about the solar eclipses, though.
