Super dart trap does more initial damage (the dart does more damage, not the effect)
Testing on a unicorn in master-mode super dart traps do around 120 damage, with 30~ of that being initial damage and an additional 90 from the poison affect.
Venom dart traps do around 160 with 15~ of that being initial damage and the rest being from the venom which does 15/sec.
Note that the venom last significantly shorter, than the poison effect.
The damage is inconsistent so those are just the average of the various tests I did.
Venom Dart traps seem superior unless your opponent is immune to venom, in that case super dart traps do more initial damage. Swapping them out is fairly easy.
Do keep in mind that since they pierce only one can hit an enemy once at a time, so it would be best to have them on separate intervals. Same thing goes for weapons, if your weapon shoots multiple rounds at once, it's best to not use piercing ammunition.

I had to search up how to make a venom dart trap for this
Other notable trap damages:
Flame trap: 450 assuming all of it hits, including the flames debuff.
Spear trap: 40, can hit multiple times and has infinite piercing.
Spiky-ball trap: Very inconsistent, hard to measure but if you use it right, you can do a lot with it.
All traps can be rotated by using a hammer on them and will still function when actuated. This allows you to effectively layer traps and you can have dart traps facing upwards for instance, or spear traps going sideways.
