Dizzy you are correct, i wish to not have the items removed as they're decent enough to not abandon.
Or get him to pick up the items directly, I guess.
Torchfire - the pit i am stuck in is roughly .... 40 tiles away from base. So the mob spawning at night isn't a factor. Not seen a zombie in the hour i've been stuck in the hole. I can't reach my base without dying or logging out (loggin isn't an option)
Colestenning - you'd just rape my base :p
I'm not sure if it's possible for other players to join a world without the host specifically picking "Host & Play"; failing that, though, your only option to get out of that hole without logging out likely is to wait for a Blood Moon, which has a roughly 10% chance of occuring each night. You might be waiting for a while.
The next time you die, you'll probably want to keep the copper pickaxe at least until you've reached your items.
(and if any mod reads this *LOL AS IF*, consider inventing some sort of way to suicide. It wouldn't be as ridiculous as it already is ridiculous to cause a stack of wild dynamite explode simply by running next to it)
Haha did not think of that.
dude seriously did you even read the discussion where you are posting this its completely irrelevant
This situation COULD exist if i made a softcore or a hardcore character as well (abscence of a pickaxe, that is). Either shut the ♥♥♥♥ up about the reroll regarding medicore or grasp what the content is, thank you.
What he's poitning out is that when you chose to play with a mediumcore character, you accept (wheter knowingly or not) the added risks associated with the higher difficulty. Your untimely death is unfortunate, but sadly, it is a risk you have made the decision to take.
Now you have also learned why you should always keep a pick axe with you at all times. The inability to build or mine your way out of a situation put you in this miserable predicament. The same predicament that could have been entirely avoided if you were playing on softcore. That's all he's saying.
The lesson to be learned is that you should always carry a pick axe with you.
