Get an Anhk Shield, put them on the conjoining Vanity/Functional slots.
You'll only every need MNCG when you need to prioritize mobility and kiting over knockback and state resistance.
Tbh Ankh Shield is also not really an endgame item, I mean who honestly cares about knockback once you have wings to prevent death by falling, and none of the debuffs it grants immunity to are ones inflicted by endgame enemies. Meanwhile the Lava Waders are a much better choice whenever you're dealing with ores that burn you (which you should rarely have to deal with at endgame anyway), and defensively it's outclassed by the Worm Scarf, Paladin's Shield, Celestial Stone, Celestial Shell, Frozen Turtle Shell, and Flesh Knuckles. There's really no reason to be still using it once you get past Plantera or Golem.

Knockback is just generally an annoying thing, and trying to kill anything with knockback is also annoying, just like the frost spark boots, they are just a generally useful item, but more usefull for combat
Thanks! I am now less stupid :)
If you want knockback immunity you can just use a Paladin's Shield, which gives more defense than Ankh along with immunity to knockback. But I've never been bothered by knockback that much, Terraria isn't like some other games where knockback prevents you from attacking temporarily so it doesn't really have any effect on a fight.
Not quite, you didn't get it exactly right. Make sure that each thing you're wanting to quote has exactly one beginning tag and one ending tag, and also make sure that the right person's quote is inside their quote tag.
Also get a rod of discord? rly? That's how you guys answer to any balance suggestions?
No, just this one. Rod of Discord is pretty much a straight upgrade to every mobility item except wings and mounts.
The only post-Plantera movement accessories besides wings and mounts are the Tabi and the Master Ninja Gear. If it's a problem, it's not a very widespread one, especially when you consider that the RoD is rare enough that most people likely won't get it until after Plantera.
