sudden slow motion??

This is a sudden new issue ive started having, i havent changed my rig or anything. none of the fixes ive seen have helped. frame skip turns my game into a jittery mess and without it terraria runs in slow motion.
i have a gtx 960 and ryzen 7 2700 8-core
the temperature never exceeds 43 C usually around 39-40
my memory and gpu usage never exceed 50% (cpu/disk are hardly affected)
I dont know why this has started happening out of nowhere is it a bug with a new patch or what?

hey, have you tried windowed mode coz when i had a very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop, i just put it on windowed mode and it runs just fine

its a tower computer on high performance mode and the resolution doesnt change anything its like the game is throttling itself

Try turning Frame Skip on, that's what I did and it worked for me.

as i said in the post frame skip makes the game a jittery mess with things teleporting around because several frames are being skipped at a time

my game does that occasionally. updating something minor seems to fix it for me
