World Generation/Seeds
Hello. I'm trying to get a world with Copper, Iron, Silver and Gold as ores, rather than any of their variants (Tin, Lead, Tungsten and Platinum respectivly) but am having no luck with just randomly generating worlds. I've always gotten atleast one ore i don't want, usually more.
Does anyone know which part of the world seed determines these four ores, and how you can edit a Seed to specifically achieve these four ores in your world? If anyone could help me out with this, that would be great!

That might be possible as part of a mod but I don't think there is a way to reliably control what ore variants are added. That goes for hard-mode ores as well, obviously.
There is another secret seed, I think it's related to a Terraria birthday date or something(?), where it does spawn all ore variants on the same world naturally, but it also comes with a few miscellaneous changes to it. That's the best information I can muster.

Edit: Thinking about it, perhaps it is possible to find and replace any pre-hard-mode ores using TEdit before you start playing the world? Though this would not affect the natural preference for loot in say... Chests, obviously.

You could've also potentially edited the world via TEdit.

yeah but i'm lazy and can't be arsed to download tmod loader and then manually edit a world.
