Fly forever glitch

Not sure if this is know or not, but I discovered a glitch to make wings fly forever.
From what I tested heres how to do it:
1) Acquire wings (so far only tested demon wings and vortex booster)
2) Have the master ninja gear (didn't test with the climbing items, only this one. Also, I was using the spectre boots. Not sure if necessary)
3) Start flying
4) Run out of lift
5) Keep holding W, S, and A/D into a wall (You will start sliding down the wall with the wings flapping)
6) Hold only W
7) Congratulations, you can fly forever until you touch the ground (Or maybe only for a lot of time, didn't see how long it lasted, but it lasted until I touched the ground).
Edit: It didn't last forever, but it lasted a very long time. Maybe the longer you spend sliding down the wall the longer you fly.

You could already just hit the wall with a grappling hook real quick to reset all of your jumps/flight time. Not a very useful glitch if you have to run into a wall..

You run into a wall, then you can fly forever (or for a veyr long time. still not sure), until you hit the ground. It's not "run a wall all the time". If you want to fly for a really long time its useful, if you only want to reset your flight then it isnt.

thats not a glitch thats an intendet feature of the master ninja gear.
as soon as you touch a wall with master ninja gear you wont slide , you will just be stuck there and your flight time will be reset !

just read the master ninja wiki page ...

The flight timer wont just reset, it will become extremely long or infinite. Didn't test it properly. Demon wings barely could climb my series of NPC houses, but with the glitch it was able to get near the ocean on the left side. You need to be holding S so thatyou slide down while grabbing the wall.

also how fast are you with those wings ? if its just eternal flight with only 35 mph thats not really useful ...

in 1.3 now there are flying mounts and depending on situations they can go from 47 to 75 mph i think

With the hoverboard or the last wings you can get (forgot their names. Vortex booster was one of them) you can hold S and Space to go really fast. Not sure how fast, didn't check the speed.
