It all depends on preference really. I prefer pickaxes due to the ability to attack mobs whilst mining. It all comes down to what you want.

Save the Titanium Bars for the armour. You don't need the drill / pickaxe anyways. Go right ahead for the hallowed pickaxe / drill ;)

well, thats true, but i would go pickaxes because they don't make a annoying noise, and they are in fact, slightly faster.

Always go for the pickaxes. They are objectively better than the drills in every way, in every case.

pickaxes are proven to be faster at mining and have stronger damage and knockback
