Skeletron Expert mode.

I'm on my world in Expert. I've never made a expert playthrough without cheating items on other world so I took that as a challenge. But I have 1 problem. I CAN'T KILL SKELETRON.
I have full Molten armor which I know is the best pre-hardmode armor. I have a Minishark with Meteorite bullets at any times. I have full molten equipment but everytime. EVERY SINGLE TIME , Skeletron kills me in 2 sec. For instance I made an arena with the nurse at one end and spiky balls everywhere. 2 hands down and those little skeleton heads get me 100 damage in 2 second. I get ALL the Potions that give perks that I can get (Archer ironskin etc) . I get lava also and still can't. How hard is that without cheating O_o? Any Tips?

Avoid the head, that's whats dealing you so much damage,

I kill the hand extremely easily. When I get hit I simply either get a Potion or get to the nurse. But when I go and get to his last form. Which he shoots homing skulls at you that do about 80 damage. He kills me in a second. And when I get into cover since they don't go through blocks. He either goes and rush me dealing me 200 damage and finishes me off with the skulls or he gets me stuck on him and killig me instantly.

try and look for a water bolt it is a red book with blue on it also try and get better accesorys then
on my first world easymode i got lightning boots and lava waders before fighting the wof and my sword was a bee keeper

Protip: Dodge, yes its hard, but that's expert mode.

I have SparkFrost shoes (Upgrade of Lightning) and Lava waders with Shield of Cthuluh and Brain of Confusion . My sword is a Molten sword (45 damage).
I assume I got the best equipment unless you can find me a muramasa before dying of Dungeon guardians so I can make nights edge.

Protip: Dodge, yes its hard, but that's expert mode.

Thats what I am trying. Either dodge for a while but most shots of Minishark misses and I lose bullets or stay still behind a wall and he stucks you on him.

I said no cheats. I can kill him anytime if I want but I want to do legitly.

I said no cheats. I can kill him anytime if I want but I want to do legitly.

No I do it every night everytime.

I almost beat him once, i got the metorite armour and the laser gun, it gave me infinate ammo, i killed both hands and he had 1/3 of his head health left, the only thing that killed me was i forgot to get potion D:

the best tip for kill him,just fly arround him when he want to kill you. after a moment he will stop of course,you should bring one more NPC: the dryad,her little buff will help you a little bit. then you don't really need potions for kill him(Pumpkin pie is enough). you just need to dodge him and when he start to spin arround and comes to you,just fly arround him and dodge untill he stop. also stay away from him in case he do that again,you won't be killed because you was too close. The weapon I used was the Throwing Javelin from the study fossil. it's really helpful and do so many damage

You need % move speed so your faster than him while head spinning, and slime mount works well for going up or down on your platforms. To avoid skulls, stay away from him so you gain reaction time. Slow is smoothe, and smoothe is fast, its a lenghty battle.

Here are some tips:
1. Have a BIG Running platform i had a huge one with 3 levels and that helped me when i tryed to beat him.
2.Get a Bed to spawn IN the house were the nurse is.
3.Get more Health; if you have the max health in pre-hardmode Get a Rage/Wrath Potion.
and
4.Get Pumpkin pie for 'Well Fed' buff it gives you 45 minutes of it.

"Fly". It's Pre-hardmode and the slime mount will get me hit on a hand or the head .
After the rest I'll get it. I also have a flamarang which does work but the time it gets back...
