~/Library/Application Support/Terraria/Worlds
~/Library/Application Support/Terraria/Players
Also, if this doesn't work, your files may be in the "hidden" Library folder. Try this if you haven't already:
1. Go to Terminal
2. Type:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
3. Press Enter.
and inside the terraria folder is nothing but the game Terraria. No worlds folder. No players folder.
