What blocks can I use on the extractonator? and where do I find them?

Silt and slush. You'll find slush in underground snow biomes near water. Same goes for silt underground near water and dirt or mud.

Well, silt and slush do work... but there's also a third option: desert fossils. You need to have a nightmare/deathbringing pickaxe to mine them though. When used in the extractinator they have a chance to give you sturdy fossiles, which are used for fossil armor, bone weapons and the amber staff

Haha I just got the game last night. I consider myself lucky to have found one already! I will remember that though even though I am no where close to getting those pickaxes!

Putting Slit, Slush and desert fossil into it gives random normal ore, random gems, random copper, silver or gold coin. Also desert fossils can give more ambers, and also sturdy fossils.
There is also a small chance that you get that dinosaur pet.
