Anyone know if the hoik method for the dungeon guardian still works?

I got into the loop successfully twice with the guardian unable to kill me but another spawned both timess.... I hope this still works, really want that bone key

I can't fly accross the map with crystal bullets and a megashark because I started a new character and only have shadow armour and a minishark - pre hardmode

It will take a while(30 mins) but I'll do it for that bone key

-just incase no one knows: the hoik method is where you created a hoik loop in the dungeons first room and a bed outside it, summon teh guardian, use a magic mirror, get into the loop and kill the dungeon guardian with a boomerang that stays in the center of the room because you move so fast--

-a hoik loop is a glitch used to move extremely fast through sloped blocks and if you make a loop you just move in circles--
