Random King Slime Spawn.

i was just wandering to the right of my world, just about to get into my dugeon, when out of no where, King Slime spawns. Is my game glitched?

nope, its a rare spawn in the world, the only other time he can spawn is when you kill over 100 slimes when they fall from the sky or using his spawn item

If you think thats bad, wait til hardmode... the twins are a helluva thing...

If you are on the outer thirds of your world at a height level near zero, he can spawn. That's what I know. Otherwise it's if you kill 125 (?) slimes on your first slime rain event for that world.

I have an OP character from some of my older posts. The twins do absolutly nothing to me. I was literally just walking to the dungeon, then BOOM! I see the message King Slime has awoken, and I had killed like 45 slimes, but not during a slime rain,

As mentioned, it has a small chance of spawning for each slime you have killed on away from the middle of your map. The jungle and dungeon are places far away enough for it to happen.

It can only happen if you haven't defeated it before though, so to fight it again you need a slime rain or a slime crown. The slime rain didn't exist prior to 1.3 and many people didn't even know about the slime king.

The King Slime can spawn rarely if you're at the right place. Usually at the right place there spawns Goblin Scouts, read the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Terraria Wiki sometimes. :\
