Is Duke Fishron harder to beat than the Lunatic Cultist?

That might be the better idea because then I can get the endgame ranged armor and weapons. (I use full shroomite, I also have the martian saucer mount, and a xenopopper)

i reccomentd duke first. any character class you play as will be amazing if you get the drop you need. reccomendaton for rena is that you make box of ashphalt where you can go up and down the ashphlt platforms to avoid his attacks while using whatever longer ranged weapon u have

the cultivis is EASY compared to fishron. But if u kill the cultivis u need to fight the moon towers& moon lord. I dont think ur ready to take on moon lord

No, I'm not planning to do that for a long while. Glad that I've done martian madness a few times and gotten most of the drops.

I havent played the game in a while, can't really help, others may be able to however. I think Duke first only because if you have the martian mount or unicorn and a skybridge you can be faster or equally as fast as Duke.

Cultist isn't hard (can easily be beaten with gear the same gear used to fight Plantera), however the cultist brings on the Pillars, which are the actual challenge (and Moon Lord I guess). I'd reccomend fighting Duke, Pumpkin moon, Frost moon and the martian event to get the gear from them, so you won't get destroyed by the Pillars (which would be permanent if you can't defeat them).

Fisron is harder than cultist, but the lunar event triggered after you kill the cultist is very hard and will take a lot of time to down especially if its your first time trying it, kill fishron first and then use fishron weapons to kill the cultist and the lunar event together and you can then also down the moon lord easy enough with a fishron weapon with the stardust dragon staff.

In my experience, fishron is easier if you're faster, he seems more predictable.
