Can't seem to bottle honey...

So I've got a one-brick deep, two brick wide honey pit in my house, but I can't seem to craft bottles of honey.

Do I need more honey, or can I only make honey bottles in the hive biomes?

Try putting more honey in your pit. It should work just like water does

One block of honey is enough, it does not matter where you are. Just take an empty bottle near the honey (no need to even touch it) and you can craft it.

Aha. Yeah, I just needed to pour a third bucket into my honey-spa. Thanks!
