Name one of the weapons in terraria that are OP in your opinion

Dart gun/dart rifle. You can just pair them up with ichor darts to create an OP shotgun that makes enemies take +10 more damage if they're under the affect. And if you're around 3-4 blocks in front of them, it can cause around 600 DPS.

And this weapon is Pre-mech, meaning you can obtain it before fighting any of the first prehardmode bosses

And we have the cursed darts, which leave a trail of cursed flames, what's so OP about that.

If you fire it upwards rapidly. You can create a north pole based weapon that can take down bosses easily.

Also do not forget about crystal darts, that go thru multiple enemies, and bounce.

But I agree, the dart gun/rifle is fun. I use it as the one weapon of exception to my summoner, since I had him use blowgun, and pipe earlier.

Last Prism, hands down. Consistent 50,000 DPS during the 15th wave of the Pumpkin Moon. Had one time where I breached 100,000 DPS. If that isn't overpowered, then I have no idea what is.

The dart guns from the mimics, along with the darts in general, are incredibly broken for their tier.

You have the shotgun ichor dart, the north pole-esque cursed flame darts, and the water-bolt-on-steroids crystal darts.

With non-clustered target dummies I manadged to hit 250,000 damage per second. With clusterted ones I could probably reach 350k+ DPS. This is ALSO without the damage nebula, so maybe even 500k DPS. And with some dummies off the screen, I could maybe someday hit 1M DPS. I must try that.

Flairon, then. Huge DPS, can be obtained as soon as Hardmode starts. Not easily, of course, but it can be done.

Alternately, the Mushroom Spear. Take out one Mech boss and BOOM! you have the best mid-game spear.
