PERSONALLY I prefer nebula blaze for the moon lord, razorblade typhoon might do more damage (via multiple hits) if you're lucky but the nebula blaze does more damage per-hit and seems to home in on the moon lord more easily.
Hmm i see i never thought of that.
as i always use ranged weapons when fightning the moon lord
i know that nebula blaze is homing though
It doesn't just poof, it explodes and deals an insane amount of damage. Personally, I just stood underneath some laser-blocking blocks used the Arcanum to quickly get rid of his forehead eye. The Typhoon just couldn't deal enough damage to the forehead while it was open.
Combine this with using the UFO mount, firing the Typhoon at the hands and leeching tongue, as well as the Blaze for the heart, and I managed to beat him solo.
Nebula blaze attacks slightly faster, but the typhoon homes in a bit more
