Are they worth getting? I have an interest on those boosts but the deathweed has me thinking...Plus i need a lot of ore to transport all that or use some ore and a lot of cash to pump it somewhere with the biome

I'd say absolutely yes, the effects do make a huge difference.
Farming deathweeds can be done efficientely right after defeating your first boss, or even earlier.
1. (Post-boss) Buy 20+ planter boxes (any type) from the Dryad and place them anywhere, despite the name you can plant deathweed seeds on them (which you get after harvesting deathweeds during Blood/Full Moon) and et voila you got a deathweed farm in a typical minecraft fashion, just be sure to harvest them ONLY with a Staff/Axe of regrowth at Full Moon
2. (Pre-boss) Alternitavely you can make a crap ton of pots (made from only the finest clay found beneath the forest surface) and do the same

The most annoying part of making the Wrath/Rage potions is catching the fish for them tbh, make a box around yourself and get a lot of jungle bait.
