Terraria slows down when afk

I don't know why but my terraria when i am afk, literally without touching the controller, keyboard or mouse, slows down, but when i do an action like moving the cursor or anything else, returns to the normal speed, if i stop doing something, slows down again. Anyone knows why this happen? And if there's a way to solve it? It's very annoying when i'm trying to fish or doing an afk farm.
