Having both, I'd say it's situational. If you're making a hellevator or flattening your world for whatever reason, the Digging Claws are a must. However, if you're digging a hellevator in the jungle or looking for hardmode ores, you'll need the Picksaw either for it's bonus range or it's ability to mine Lihzahrd Blocks, something that literally every other digging tool lacks.

I've got a preference towards conventional wings. Not as fast horizontally, but I've noticed I tend to go much farther distances vertically. That, and the Fishron Wings really just blow everything else out of the water.
I just keep it around in case I need to keep the Crimson or Corruption from spreading into the Jungle and I don't wanna risk getting stopped by otherwise unmineable blocks.
Its the Crystyl Crusher, to correct.
