i farmed the golem and got the picksaw. it's great ^.^ and the golem is really easy. he died in a few seconds. i will farm plantera now for ''The Axe''. but the dropchance is really low for it :S thank you guys for the answers, great community :)

Shroomite Claw by far, Lihzahrd Bricks only spawn in a single place of the world so. it's not THAT useful

While picksaw can mine anything and everything it's not as fast as the digging claws. Not even nearly as fast. That is why I use the digging claws for digging and keep the picksaw in my inventory just in case I need it.

I second this, Why do people say picksaw without even explain while us experienced terrarins have spent a few seconds extra time, typing in a little discription as to why. If you do not have a reason why you think the picksaw/shroomite claw is better then your vote simply does not count.

I used to think Picksaw was better because it could mine Lizarhd blocks. Then I tried the Shroomite Digging Claws and it's amazing. Especially with Celestial Stone, Miner Armor, and Mining Potion. The server froze me every couple seconds of digging. It was ridiculous.

I suggest making a shroomite claw when you can, it may not be able to dig lihazerd bricks but it can dig faster than the 2nd ring on a phone

In my opinion, the first shroomite thing you should make is a hoverbord.
