can you fight it there? or does it despawn or something silly? i know you have to smash the bulb where it spawns but can i run up and fight it on my asphalt runway?

he does, learned that the hard way, plus why would you wanna fight it on the surface when you can dig infinte tunnels underground. just get a weapn that can phase through the blocks, such as a scthye or some magic that can bounce around the spells. that and you can fall while hitting upwards when he goes all full teeth on you.

the bulb has a very rare chance of spawning on the surface and it gos into a more harder form that it trys to always do melee damage to the player

My friend and I spent a long time building an arena with the heart statues. So that we have it follow us to the arena. So that whenever we get low health we just hit the plate and out pops health. It really all depends on how you feel most comfortable fighting it.
