Any tips on how to kill hardmode bosses?

I usually get stuck with skeletron prime, the twins, and any other boss or event above that. The destroyer is no problem seeing as he sends probes which might as well be goodie bags filled with health and mana. Any tips on how to kill them faster or at least not die? Any loadouts that are best suited for them? Any potion recommendations? Any equipables too?
For my current loadout i have the terra blade (legendary), the golden shower and crystal storm (mythical), the inferno pitchfork (mythical), the optical staff (twins), full beatle armor set for max defense, quick ghost wings for mobility, and some other equipables that increaase melee speed and speed in general.
Edit: i have been doing some tinkering and found that using ghost wings, death scythe, golden shower, megashark with ichor bullets (for the lowered defense and extra base damage aside), iron skin and regeneration potions, and the magma stone for added burn effects on enemies that can get the on fire debuff. Also, a philosophers stone and several max health potions help to not die.

im actually fighting them with low lvl armor, or mid tier armor. Trust me when i tell you no matter what armor you use they get you anyhow in their final stages. The only thing i use thats end tier game is probably the picksaw to setup and clear blocks to be able to battle bosses more efficiently/faster.
the edit i did was what works best after you reached the end to rebattle some bosses.

You should be able to beat every boss in the game, except maybe the Duke and the moon bosses, easily with just Beetle Armor and Terra Blade or Death Sickle. If you have those and you're still dying to Skeletron Prime and the Twins, then you may just want to give up.

I use the "Turtle armour" but thats just me. I like more of a melee and tank build, works for me.

What? Um... no, actually. I beat the bosses using ordinary tier equipment the first time, and now I can beat all three at once using Beetle Armor and a Death Sickle in less than a minute.

if you are big noob just buy cannon make it look up lot of balls buy too armor potion regerenetion potion or how it is and than just summon mecha eather of world and shoot shoot shootshoot shoot shoot :D soz for my english
