I want to build a cupcake and thats why I need a red block in pre-hardmode, im to lazy to google and if you know a red block which is good for building a cupcake, tell me pls (No crimson) <3

Yeh but King Slime is rather a rare spawn, and not an easy fight Pre-Hardmode.

True, that, but you can spawn him with a gold crown and gel (not sure how many gel though). He is also quite predictable, if you avoid his jumps.

Again, Gold Crown (from memory and personal experiance) not an easy item to get sooo.... Best thing you can do is just make a big house and wait for the painter to come. You could try fighting King Slime, but he's hard to kill pre-hardmode. Not just because of his strength, but also because he has 10 defence and 2000-2800 health.

He says after 6 replies in short time. King Slime, painter. Those are really the only ways, unless you have Corruption, in which case you may be able to get corrupt ice (or whatever it's called).

I have no idea why you think King Slime is such a huge obstacle to overcome.
First off, the crown is super cheap -- FIVE gold bars and ONE ruby.
The slime crown only takes TWENTY GEL. You can get that much in, oh, 3 minutes?
As for fighting him, the solution is stupidly simple -- grenades. 60 base damage, so just buy a whole stack of them for about 50 silver. Toss until slime is dead. Easy.

Oh ok. I don't really fight the King Slime often, but from my own experiance, it was quite hard when I first fought him. Plus, I thought you had to find the crown. I didn't realise you could make it >.<
