Removing background grass/sprites in TEdit
Does anyone know how to remove large amounts of background grass, pots, rocks, etc without changing any of the other blocks around it? Any help is appreciated! ^^

Use the pencil tool on blocks/walls mode and activate eraser mode. Then click on the grass, pots, rocks, whatever and it'll be deleted.

For larger quantites, use the brush tool with the same "modes" on. Turn off the option that will "square" your brush so you can have a 1x[whatever amount of blocks you need to remove the grass/pots/rocks on] and put all of the grass/pots/rocks in the blue highlighted section that makes.

Hope this helps!

Is there a way to remove all background sprites in caves that aren't on a flat surface without altering any of the other blocks/walls around it though? I've tried every tool but there doesn't seem to be a way to mass delete background items :/

Placing walls over background sprites doesn't seem to remove them at all, don't know why you'd think placing walls would remove them since walls aren't even on the same layer as background items to begin with.

no you have to start above it then start going in while attached to the one above it replaces it

I tried searching it on google, the only thing I found was someone saying that you can remove them by using the 1x1 brush by clicking on each individual sprite/background object :\
