Help with waterproof entrance.
I've made an underground home under a lake of water. I want to make a tunnel entrance so that i can enter my home from the bottom of the lake without it flooding my home.

Anyone know if you can build something for this, and if so, how?

http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4232/fwzra9cr_png.htm this could be a way, or you simply build your home above your entrance

Try to get the special sponge from the angler. It can absorb unlimited amounts af water so you could just empty it out once you're done building it.

Use bubble blocks, they prevent liquid from moving through it

I have a idea, Make 2 doors. For example, think of british home enterances. plus, make a massive hole in the ground that leaks water out (Sorry if im acting nooby, im not op yet)

The easiest way to prevent water from entering your tunnel is probably just to build a simple syphon.

Dig down vertically from the lake bed maybe twice the character hight deep. Then dig horizontally for at least 3 blocks. Then dig upwards, so that you have at least 1 solid block between the first shaft and the new one. You can then dig a dry horizontal tunnel from there without any risk of flooding (unless the separating wall gets demolished).

You could use inlets and outlets for a simple way to get rid of any water that enters your home. Where would it go? Into a container above the water with a hole in the bottom to leak the water back out into the lake.

Haven't tried it, but if done right, may work well.
