"Kill Tim" achievement

Is there any easy way to find Tim? I've been searching for him for so long, using watercandle but he doesn't seems to appear anywhere >_<'.

W+M1 is right. You need to be in the same layer as the lava. He usually spawns in fairly close (rather than off screen like other mobs). I'd clear out an area 1 screen wide x 1 screen high. Set up some dart traps to easily take out bats if u have the mechanic. Use water candle and battle potions. If your in hardmode I think it might be even harder to get him to spawn. Good luck :D

Also, wearing a gem robe helps him to spawn.

Try bringing a battle potion too, it will help. He's a pretty rare enemy.

Did as you said, still not working. Been here waiting for like two hours but I can't find him anywhere :(

Found him once then friend took his hat and deleted the character so we wouldnt fight over the hat.

Cam your goona have more trouble finding the materials for the Ankh Shield since you always find the items you dont need and you dont find the items that you need cuz i just need vitamins, bezoar and blindfold

I can give you a medicated bandage and an armor bracing if you want and i can help you find a blindfold
