Help me: Titanium vs Chlorophyte

I'm playing a ranger (megashark, daedalus stormbow etc...) and I'm about to beat plantera in expert mode, but I was wondering, what should I choose. The chlorophyte armor has more damage and defense, and a sweet set bonus, but the titanium set bonus is useful too.

Chlorophyte. It has stronger defence, and stats are higher. Titanium is helpful due to shadow dodge, but it takes 15 second to recharge. Chlorophyte gives you an extera projectile that auto aimes, making an easier and quicker defaet.

Nah, Shroomite is better because it's a ranged set.

I'd use Titanium armour for the passive and Chlorophyte shotbow for dps with Ichor/Cursed arrows.

go to jungel and get [ turtle shell ] X3 and make turtle armore .. then go and kill golem and get [ bettle husk] and combine turtle armore with beetle husk to get beetle armor and it givs way better stuff then cloro or titan

But I can't beat the golem without the key given by plantera guys

If you're good at dodging, go for the titanium. If you're good enough, the shadow dodge will allow you to completely avoid all damage. But if you can't dodge often enough for the bonus to fully protect you, even with the dramatically extended invincibility duration after you're hit with it active, then go for the higher defense; it will serve you better.

Once you have taken down plantera and do have access to shroomite, upgrade to shroomite. The even greater defense, combined with the set and base bonuses will more than outweight the benefit of titanium's set bonus.

For similar reasons, when you can further upgrade to vortex, it's even better, given you can move while the set bonus is active. That, and even higher defense.

Well if I am lucky enough to find a Bulb close to surface, then I fight enraged plantera cause she's easier. In that case I'm using Titanium Armor. You may say that I'm completely CRAZY, but If you make a little platform somewhere 30 blocks long, placed high enough, then she can't reach you and her only attack are the seeds. Shadow Dodge set bonus is going to save your life 73636635327 times. And yes, that works even on expert mode. PS. Sadly I don't know how high it exactly has to be, cause I was just building a platform and wishing for luck, but when fighting her in normal way, underground, on an arena, then you should use chlorophyte. Yes, I know it's a thread from 2015/2016 but I like to help people. :p
