What comes after the first boss? (Eye)

I beat first boss, now what?

Most players would probably go after the Eater of Worlds (if your world has Corruption) or the Brain Of Cthulhu (if your world has Crimson). I went after Skeletron. You could also go after the Queen Bee in the underground jungle but trying to traverse the underground jungle by itself would probably require you to get a bit stronger, first.

If you don't plan on defeating the Eater Of Worlds or the Brain Of Cthulhu next, then concentrate on getting either jungle armor or necro armor. Find better weapons (16 damage or higher) and up to 200 health or higher.

Going to the Corruption or the Crimson and breaking either a shadow orb (in Corruption) or Crimson heart (in Crimson) will trigger the chances of having goblin invasions and meteorite impacts in your world. Both of these events will give you items and ingredients that will help you with your next boss battle.

Breaking a third shadow orb in the Corruption or Crimson heart in the Crimson will trigger a boss battle.

Meteorite armor will help you defeat the Eater Of Worlds and Brain Of Cthulhu, and you can use whatever ore you got from the Eye Of Cthulhu to craft a good weapon for that battle.

Or you can make necro armor and buy a minishark with 700+musket balls for Skeletron (the arms dealer NPC will arrive if you have a gun - look in chests underground).

Or you can craft a Blade Of Grass, a thorn chakram, and jungle armor from materials like jungle spores and vines, and attempt to fight the Queen Bee.

In any case, after defeating the Eye Of Cthulhu, three possible boss battles await you and it really is your choice which one you want to tackle first.

OP, note that you don't HAVE to follow this order exactly. Not to mention King Slime is extremely rare, Queen Bee is a joke, and the Pumpkin Moon is insanely difficult and almost requires two or more players.

I'd go for either Brain of Cthulhu/Skeletron. Going into the jungle's dangerous. Also I never found a Queen Bee in my world I think I only have one hive. I've explored almost my entire underground jungle.

Sometimes the world gen screws you over. Just make a new small world and search its jungle.

I don't need to kill Queen anymore. I'm in hardmode with high-end gear.

yeah the order is just to keep tract and is more the difficulty than actual gameplay, although some do drop items such as shadow scales and demonite bars which are need to craft higher tier items to progress but the main monsters to kill are
eater of worlds, for armor and weapon purposes (you can skip but its highly recommended)
skeletron to explore the dungeon or maybe later on if you want (hardmode, only area to get ectoplasm from)
wall of flesh to enter hardmode
the three mechanical bosses, to progress
twins
destroyer would recommend because hes fairly easy to kill compared to the rest
skeletron prime
then you unlock plantera
kill plantera to unlock golem
the rest of them are up to you to defeat.

The OP meant right after defeating the Eye Of Cthulhu. Not sometime a lot later in hardmode. That's like telling someone to get spectre armor right after they get their first set of gold or platinum armor. There is a lot to do before getting to that part that the person is going to want to know first.

Ok, yes, but I was talking about "newturtlebread3 senpai"'s comment. He listed all of the bosses and my first comment was just adding a few notes to that. I'm not telling OP to go fight the Pumpkin Moon with gold armor.
